The film has become a major box office success in South Korea, grossing US$ 81,6 million on a production budget of US$ 5,8 million and surpassing 10 million ticket sales in just 15 days. As of May 2019, Extreme Job is the second most viewed film in South Korea film history.

Movie review:
Narcotics squad having a mission to catch drug dealer. Chief Go, Detective Jang, Detective Ma, Detective Young Ho and Detective Jae Hoon chasing the drug dealer. The drug dealer was hit by a bus, followed by several car accident.
The police superintendent scold all the Narcotics squad detective and plan to disband the squad. Chief Song give a tip about Lee Moo Bae, the head of criminal organization to Chief Go. Chief Go an the others detective start to stake out in a chicken restaurant.
The restaurant owner want to sell the building. Chief Go use his retirement fund to buy the building for stake out. Meanwhile, some customer come to the restaurant and make order.


Chief Go decided they need to seel chicken for undercover. He told all the detectives to make chicken and Detective Ma choosed as the chef. Detective Ma parents have galbi restaurant and he use his family special recipe.
Their chicken is really delicious. Many customer pouring to their restaurant. Everybody was busy to serve the customer. Meanwhile Detective Young Ho stay outside the restaurant to stake out.
He saw Lee Moo Bae and try to call the chief but no one answering hi. Detective Young Ho following Moo Bae but lossing him because he confused.


Det. Young Ho comeback and complain nobody was answering him and he lost Moo Bae. The other detectives complain they are exhausted with the restaurant business.
Chief Go rise the chicken prices and limited the order to make their stake out mission run smoothly.
A television producer record their restaurant and they show up at national television. All the squad suspended by the superintendent.


GM Jung visit the restaurant and ask the to give their chicken recipe to make a franchise restaurant. Chief Go accept the offer.
GM Jung use the franchise restaurant to deliver narcotics from Lee Moo Bae. But the franchise restaurant got many complaint from the reguler costumer.
Chief Go and the others doing investigation on GM Jung, and others branch restaurant. They found out they used their brand for drugs trafficking.


Detective Ma went to a branch and get caught. They kidnapped him and sent a video to Det. Jang. Det. Jang located Det. Ma location and come to get him with the others.
Detective Ma escaped and hanging on a box car. He arrived at a port and saw narcotics transaction between Moo Bae and Ted Chang. Chief Go and the others arrived at the port. They ask for back up to Chief Choi.
While waiting for back up, they caught all the thug and both Moo Bae and Ted Chang. Chief Go was shooted while protecting Det. Jae Hoon.


This movie was superb! I have a good time and fun time while watching the movie. It will be a great company while on self quarantine like this time. Have fun while watching the movie guys!

Introduction Bibimbap is a signature Korean dish. The word literally means "mixed rice". Bibimbap is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with namul (sauteed and seasoned vegetables) and gochujang (chili pepper paste).
