The film topped the South Korean box office on opening weekend with 203,000 moviegoers. It surpassed 500,000 ticket sales the following week.

Movie Synopsis

Hwa Ja arrested at her husband funeral. She accused poisoning some people at the funeral. She accused mixing pesticide with makgeoli and let Jung Soo the served the makgeoli to the guest. One of the victims was Mayor Choo. He survived but some people dies.

Jung In works as a lawyer, she saw the news about her mother. She went back to the village to meet with Hwa Ja. Hwa Ja didn't remember Jung In. Jung In ask some doctor, he said Hwa Ja show Alzheimer symptom.

Jung In take the case as Hwa Ja lawyer. She met with Police Officer Yoon. He is willing to help Jung In to find some evidence of the accidents. Jung In let Jung Soo, her autistic brother live with her. Hwa Ja insisted she killed the people because the prosecutor threaten to arrest Jung Soo.

Jung In investigated their old house, when someone attacked her. Officer Yoon try to located and caught the assailant. The prosecutor come and take over the case. Jung In and Officer Yoon following the prosecutor team and saw the assailant freed quickly.

Jung In and Officer Yoon following the assailant. Officer Yoon convinced the assailant to trust and follow him. Jung In got some statement from the assailant. She find a bigger case behind these murder.

She met with other people who survived and ask about some past accidents. He said Mayor Choo and some people killed Jung In biological father to get his land. Hwa Ja didn't know her husband was murdered, and get married with one of the murderer.

Jung In visit Hwa Ja when her memories intact. She take revenge by poisoning her current husband and his friends. Jung In decided to keep the fact and help to release her mother. She ask Jung Soo to be a witness at the court. She train him to say that his late father keep the poisonous makgeolli and told him to serve to his friend.

Introduction Bibimbap is a signature Korean dish. The word literally means "mixed rice". Bibimbap is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with namul (sauteed and seasoned vegetables) and gochujang (chili pepper paste).
