Book review:
Flavia de Luce is a curious 12 years old girls. After her father passed away, Dogger the family servant suggest her and 2 older sister to have a boat trip together. While on boat trip, Flavia found a dead body on the river.
While the others went to report to the constable office, Flavia examine the corpse. She take a handkerchief to swab inside the deceased mouth. she checked the pockets and hide a letter written with some number in it. Together with Dogger, they plan to unsolved the mysterious death.
Flavia dig information about the deceased around the village. The constable catch her and told her not messing with the investigation. The constable already think it's just a simple accident drowning case.

While investigated, Flavia found three murder cases that happen at the church a couple years ago. She found out this case was connected with the recent case.
Flavia met a kid who love to take aerial photo. She find a picture on the crime scene and hide it. Flavia got another pieces of information from a circus owner. They come every year to this place.
Flavia and Dogger met with the deceased neighbour, who is someone Dogger knew in the past. She allowed the to get in the deceased house. They met with an old woman, she is a famous theater actress when she was young.

Wow! I got another book about murder investigation. It's always interesting and sometimes get a surprised when the murdered was find at the end of the story. Seems like this book is a series, I should buy other Flavia series next time. Happy reading~
