Movie Review
Cheol Soo work at his brother, Young Soo noodles restaurant. He has many admired. Cheol Soo is handsome and strong middle age man, but he is mentally slow. He went to Mr. Kim places for workout and Mr Kim told him to go straight home after done the workout.
While walking to his home, an older woman stops him and ask direction to Cheol Soo. She bring Cheol Soo to the hospital and run some blood test to him. Cheol Soo confused and terrified. Young Soo went to hospital and pick Young Soo. The old woman introduce Saet Byeol as Cheol Soo daughter. Saet Byeol is sick, leukimia.
The next day, Cheol Soo ask for Mr. Kim to accompany him to the hospital. Cheol Soo bought a snack and waiting for Saet Byeol. He saw Saet Byeol run away from hospital and follow her. They went to a bus express terminal and went to Daegu.
Mr. Kim call Young Soo and told him they are at the hospital. Young Soo come to the hospital and confront Saet Byeol grandmother. Young Soo call Cheol Soo and ask where is he and Saet Byeol. Young Soo and grandmother went to Daegu together to pick them up.
Saet Byeol on the mission to find a baseball player Lee Seung Yuop and ask a sign to give to her friend. They went to the stadium, but there was no match on that day. Saet Byeol and Cheol Soo went around and saw some thug. They claim can get Lee Seung Yuop sign and Cheol Soo hands Young Soo credit card to them.
Saet Byeol feels suspicious to them and told Cheol Soo to go with them. Cheol Soo run and follow the thug but he lost them. He is hungry and eat many toppokki, suddenly he remember Saet Byeol and run to find her. A drunk man pick him on the way, but they got caught by the police. Cheol Soo run away form the car and find Saet Byeol.
The police bring Cheol Soo and Saet Byeol to the police station and let them sleep in there. The chief bring them out to breakfast and they met Lee Seung Yuop at the restaurant. Saet Byeol got his sign and went to Daegu hospital to give those to her friend.
They went to the bus station to buy ticket back to Seoul, but Saet Byeol faint. Cheol Soo carry her and run to the hospital, but he need to past through underground station. Cheol Soo afraid off underground station and faint.
Cheol Soo was a fire fighter back then at Daegu. Someday there's fire at the subway station and his wife was in there. He try to save his pregnant wife and ended lost her and mentally slow after that accident.
Cheol Soo and Saet Byeol arrived safely at the hospital and back to Seoul. Saet Byeol got hurt and bleeding a lot, she moved to sterilized room and need bone marrow transplant.
The people back from the Daegu fire accident victims come to Seoul to help Saet Byeol. They run blood test for bone marrow donation to help Saet Byeol.
The movie was hilarious and sad at the same time. It's bring many laughter and tears. You guys really need to watch the movie. It's perfect for weekend vibe and watch it with your family.
